Telluride has over 2000 acres of incredible big mountain skiing, 175 inches of annual snowfall and 350 average days of sunshine each year .... yep, it only snows at night here folks ;). Composed of 23% beginner, 36% intermediate and 41% expert; no other ski area will make you into the skier you are meant to be like Telluride will! And for those of you who just want to cruise, it even has a 4.6 mile long cruiser called the Galloping Goose!

I think the freelance journalist Julia Pugachevsky put it best when she wrote, "TELLURIDE IS A RIDICULOUSLY MAGICAL MOUNTAIN TOWN … Think Aspen but waaaaay chiller ...." We are a town of roughly only 2400 fun loving and welcoming residents whom you'll never forget and will reflect on fondly after you come to visit us.

- THE FREE GONDOLA CONNECTS OLD WITH NEW
Did you know that Telluride is the only place in North America with a free gondola used as public transportation between our two mountain towns of Telluride and Mountain Village? Stay in either town, go to dinner in the other via gondola and foot, there is no more romantic way to spend an evening!

- ADVENTURE BEYOND THE MOUNTAIN
So many of my clients buy for the skiing .... and then they experience our summers!!! Hiking, biking, fly fishing ... desert red rock just two hours away, Telluride is truly the gateway to so much more than 'just' skiing!
- NO LIFT LINES
But, back to skiing ... one of the things that makes Telluride so special is that it is not easy to get to. And we prefer it that way. If you are special enough to make the effort to come here, you will experience the magic that Telluride is. Rarely will you spend time in a lift line in Telluride, the biggest problem with that .... you get WAY too much skiing in and sometimes find yourself at the bar a little too soon in the day .... but is that really a problem when you're sitting in the sunshine, enjoying the views of our 13,000 foot peaks and reflecting on all the vertical feet you got in before lunch?!
