Telluride Air and Lodging Update: Sept 1 - 7

LODGING UPDATE Film Festival weekend occupancy has increased YOY, with 10% growth in total (paid & owner) occupancy and a 12% increase in paid occupancy. Visitation peaks on Friday and Saturday at 78% total occupancy and tapers off to 60% on Monday. Mountain Village is seeing 25% YOY growth, and Telluride properties are experiencing a 3% increase compared to Film Fest 2022.    The remaining weeks of the summer/fall season are pacing slightly behind 2022, with a 2% dip in total occupancy and average daily rate (ADR) 1% lower at $591.    Looking ahead to winter, total occupancy is pacing 6% ahead YOY and paid occupancy is flat. March is showing the most growth, currently 26% YOY at 22% total occupancy. Mountain Village total occupancy is pacing 17% ahead of 2022 bookings, and Telluride is 13% behind.    AIR UPDATE Summer bookings have continued to level off to yearly averages over the last several weeks, with summer still pacing up about 10% overall. While July and August finished up around 15%, due in large part to late fill from sustained high heat in our core markets, September and October are currently pacing flat YOY. The winter schedule is going through final adjustments, and very early bookings are fairly soft at this stage.
