The next few weeks are pacing 14% ahead of 2022 for total occupancy, and ADR is 3% higher, with increases concentrated more on Telluride Film Festival weekend. Total destination occupancy is at its lowest, at 33%, on August 28 and grows as Film Festival approaches, peaking at 77% on September 1. Film Festival weekend is pacing 13% ahead of 2022, currently at 72% total occupancy, and ADR is flat at $947.
Total destination occupancy is pacing 4% ahead of 2022 for the remainder of summer and into fall (8/18 – 10/15), currently at 39%, and ADR is 1% ahead YOY. Mountain Village total occupancy has increased by 15% YOY, and Telluride total occupancy has decreased by 10% compared to 2022.
Looking ahead at winter pace, destination total occupancy has increased by 7%, currently at 19% occupancy. Total occupancy in Mountain Village properties is pacing 18% ahead of last year at 22%, and Town of Telluride occupancy is pacing 12% behind YOY at 15%.
AIR UPDATE
Summer bookings have continued to level off to yearly averages over the last several weeks, with summer still pacing up about 10% overall. While July and August finished up around 15%, due in large part to late fill from sustained high heat in our core markets, September and October are currently pacing flat YOY. The winter schedule is going through final adjustments, and very early bookings are fairly soft at this stage.
