Via Telluride.com
The next two-weeks are pacing slightly behind last summer, with total occupancy down by 5% at 42.8%, while average daily rate has increased by 14% at $561. The largest occupancy gaps occur the first week of June, and then pick up starting on June 13 due to the timing of Bluegrass this year (in 2022, the festival took place from June 17-19).
For the summer, destination total occupancy has increased by 5% YOY, currently at 36%, and average daily rate (ADR) has decreased by 3% at $617. Mountain Village total occupancy is pacing 12% ahead of 2022, and average daily rate (ADR) has decreased by 7% YOY at $589. Town of Telluride total occupancy is pacing 3% behind last summer, with ADR 4% ahead of 2022 at $650.

AIR UPDATE
After a couple months of slower bookings, the last several weeks have gained on last year, and overall summer pace is now about even for destination air passengers. June is up around 13%, July and August about 4%, and September down 7%. To note, next winter’s baseline schedule is loaded and live, although we do expect some changes to come.
