It's starting to feel like the holidays! After a successful Ski Tree Lighting and Noel Night last night, we're headed into another weekend of festive fun (and more skiing).

The Telluride Ski Resort has announced the opening of additional terrain this weekend, including Polar Queen Express (Lift 5) and Apex Lift (Lift 6). Access to See Forever will be available from the top of Lift 6, but no other terrain will be open off of Lift 6 at this time. Snowfall this weekend may allow additional runs to open.

In addition to the Mountain Village Holiday Prelude on Saturday and Sunday, you can also catch the Telluride Choral Society's WinterSing on Friday and Sunday, A Frozen Story at the Palm Theatre on Saturday and Sunday, and a Winter Wonder Drag Brunch on Sunday at the View at the Mountain Lodge. Mountain Village will also be hosting the 2nd annual Menorah Lighting and Chanukah Celebration next Thursday in Heritage Plaza.

Telluride Arts HQ has also transformed into a winter wonderland, with varying events, including the Peter Ingles Avalanche Fund Movie Night and Letters to Santa, held throughout the week. A full schedule can be found here

If you're looking for some non-festive music, Son Little will be performing at the Sheridan Opera House on Saturday.

View more events on the Peak Sheet or our calendar of events. You can also submit your event here.
